The appointee will perform teaching and learning activities, including preparing and developing teaching materials, delivering tutorials, classroom and laboratory-based practical classes; supervise students in their clinical training and evaluate students’ clinical performance and skills, academic advising, provide support to co-curricular activities; coordinate student clinical placement with local, national and overseas healthcare agencies; contribute to the implementation of the strategic initiatives of the College and School; participate / assist in programme development and validation exercises (focusing in clinical aspects); take up responsibilities in departmental administration; and undertake professional service to external professional body / organization and provide public services to the community.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Nursing or a closely related discipline with sufficient years of post-registration clinical experience in a hospital/community setting; a valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong; demonstrated a high level of competence in clinical teaching and evidence of continuing development as clinical mentor; and with good communication skills and be able to use English as the medium of instruction.
